| BODY BUILDER WORKOUT How To Build Your Body For Golf

"Don Peterson's workout for golf increased my clubhead speed 10 miles per hour and helped me hit the ball
25 yards longer!"
Philip Allen
Morehouse College Golf Team
Everyone knows strength training and proper exercise improves an athletes over-all performance in other sports, and this work-out can improve your performance on the golf course as well. The key is training specifically for golf, not some other sport. By stretching and strengthening only those muscles associated with golf, we can truly increase a golfers potential.
Comprehensive training of all your golf muscles.
In most cases we can help students hit the ball farther by making small changes in their technique. But once a student has developed a sound technique it is also possible to increase their club head speed by adding length or width to their arc. "I actually developed this program for myself one winter trying to get into better shape" says Don Peterson. It is 10 stations of stretching, strengthening and cardio specially developed to condition your body for golf.
We have three stages of development; beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Beginners are instructed to start with simple, less demanding, and shorter sessions. You're ready for the next level when you have improved your coordination and increased your stamina. Workouts begin with a 1 to 3 minute stretch, followed immediately by a 1 to 3 minute warm-up, followed immediately by 1 to 3 minutes of conditioning and 1 to 3 minutes of strengthening and so on.
Our instructors are all trained to take you through the work-out. It takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and must be scheduled in advance. Once you have learned the work-out you may work-out as little or as much as you desire.
